Alessandro William

Alessandro William is a cinematographer, photographer and filmmaker based in Santander, northern Spain. As a Director of Photography, he has worked on Casualidad (2025), directed by Sebas Soto and nominated at the FEDE 2026 Awards, including for Best Cinematography; Anjana (2026), directed by Pedro Torre; and the upcoming short films Manchas and Adolfo (2027), directed by Harrison Patrick and Franco Maldonado respectively.

In 2025, William directed the short film El Contrato (The Contract), produced by an international 26-person crew representing seven nationalities. Featuring cinematography by Fito Pardo AMC, AEC and sound production by Canadian company Ascent Films, the film was selected as a finalist at Film Hour (India), First-Time Sessions Vol. 2 (UK), the Torrelavega International Short Film Festival (Spain), Ahmedabad International Film Festival (India), Zacatlán International Film Festival (Mexico) and Lloret Negre Film Festival 2026 (Spain).

Alessandro has also worked as official still photographer on He vuelto a soñar (2026), directed by Héctor Somonte, and El Juego de la verdad (2026), directed by Guillermo Sanz. He is additionally credited as still photographer and Associate Producer on Víctor Díaz’s feature film Muerte de un cine (2027).

His creative journey began nearly a decade earlier through machinima, videogame filmmaking and 3D animation, particularly using Grand Theft Auto V. This early body of work included narrative shorts, experimental films, music videos and commercial trailers, with projects such as Yakuza, Russian Brotherhood, Lost, The Titans and Black Desert. His experimental short Tokoko won first place in a Rockstar Editor Contest in 2018.

Since 2018, Alessandro has worked with clients and creators worldwide. His digital work has accumulated more than 4 million views across commissions for music artists, online communities, companies and internet creators, including the music video for rapper Drakeo The Ruler’s “GTA VI,” which surpassed 350,000 views. His commissioned work also includes projects for Drakeo The Ruler, NerdOut!, DBrown100, StayRooted, Blaine County, ProdigyRP, Peakville and The Ambitioneers.

Today, Alessandro works across narrative film, commercial production, music, photography and branded content, collaborating with independent filmmakers and international clients while continuing to develop his work as a cinematographer and photographer.
